Natural stone

Travertine.

Warm tones and living structure, formed at natural springs.

Travertine is a limestone formed by deposits at mineral-rich hot springs. Gas bubbles in the deposits give the stone its characteristic pores and layered structure.

It can be delivered with filled and honed pores for a smooth surface, or unfilled for a more rustic and tactile expression. Cut across (cross-cut) the pattern becomes cloudy; cut along the bed (vein-cut) the linear bands emerge.
